Library Workshops in April

Wednesday, April 7th. Library 101.1 I <3 McDermott Library. This workshop goes beyond a library tour to give more detailed information about the library.


Wednesday, April 14th. Library 101.2 Where Are You? library locations. McDermott Library covers three floors. This workshop will introduce you to the Library of Congress call numbers and subjects so that you can find and use the library’s resources more efficiently.


Wednesday, April 23rd. What’s Your Problem? Choosing the right electronic resource. With over 300 databases, more than 400,000 electronic books and other online resources finding a starting point can be a challenge. This workshop will give a brief overview of electronic collections and resources.

Wiley Interscience E-Journals Downtime on Monday, Mar. 15

Wiley Interscience journals will be inaccessible on Monday, March 15th, from 3am-4am while it undergoes important maintenance.

ScienceDirect & SCOPUS Downtime This Weekend

ScienceDirect and Scopus will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance for approximately 8.5 hours during the period from 9:30am on Saturday, Mar. 13, to 7am on Sunday, Mar. 14. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Lexis-Nexis Downtime This Weekend

All Lexis-Nexis databases, including LN Academic, LN Congressional, LN Statistical, and LN Statistical Datasets, will be down for maintenance from Saturday, March 13, 10:00 pm to Sunday, March 14, 5:00 am.
