ACS Journals Down

From the American Chemical Society Journals publisher's site:

ACS Publications is experiencing a severe system disruption resulting in complete or partial loss of full-text access across our ACS Web Editions products including journals, e-books and archives for many of our customers worldwide. We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers and our readers. We are working diligently to trace the root cause of the issue and to restore access.
We will post an update as soon as journal access is restored.

Problems with E Book Library

Due to system instability at EBL’s hosting provider’s end, EBL customers may be experiencing intermittent outages affecting access to both the patron and LibCentral sites. Rest assured, we’re in close contact with our hosting provider and pressuring them to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

This should only affect e-books provided by E Book Library (EBL). EBL is working to repair their system.

Problems with Films on Demand

The Films on Demand front end access page is erroneously re-directing users to the page used by Carl Albert State College. Rather than accessing this service through the library's eMovies and Audiobooks page, users are advised to use these alternate pathways, which will direct them to the library's proper, subscribed content:

  1. In the Library Catalog Basic Search, do a "Series Keyword" search for Films on Demand.
  2. In the Library Catalog Basic or Advanced Search screens, do a "Keyword(s) Anywhere" search on fmgondemand.
  3. Or, using the Library's alternate catalog interface, the Discover search, do a search on the phrase Films on Demand.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the technical glitch and will post a new update as soon as Films on Demand's access page has been fixed.
