Databases, Ejournals, Ebooks Down

The library is currently experiencing technical difficulties with the proxy server, which affects access to all subscription electronic resources -- databases, e-journals, and e-books. We are working hard to resolve this issue as quickly as possibly and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience to all our patrons.

Service Disruptions: Copy Center, Marketplace, WebCT - Saturday, July 14th

Due to planned electrical upgrades at the Multipurpose/Administration Building (MP) on Saturday, July 14th, from 8a.m. to 6 p.m, the library expects several of our services dependent on systems in that building to be temporarily unavailable.

• Patrons will be unable to use their Comet Cards to print or make photocopies at our Copy Center (the system for printing will be down). They will still be able to make photocopies using cash or scan documents for free.
  
• Marketplace for paying online fines and fees will be unavailable.
  
• WebCT is expected to be down during this time too.

The timing of the upgrade is intended to minimize inconvenience to the various University constituencies due to loss of computer systems and services. The weekend of July 14-15 is the optimal remaining weekend in the summer when this upgrade can occur with minimal impact.

Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated as this important project is accomplished.
